PROVEHO KC is a collaborative effort of families to build community and enrich the lives of adults with mild intellectual disabilities. We promote safe independent living, social interaction and wellness.

At PROVEHO KC, we know that sometimes all it takes to enhance someone's life is a little support. Since our founding in 2017, we have been doing just that - providing life-enhancing opportunities for individuals with mild intellectual disabilities through:

We love living on our own!
PROVEHO KC is dedicated to supporting independent living for our participants. For the right candidate, independent living can boost morale and foster better daily experiences.
After careful consideration, PROVEHO KC chose a safe, cheerful apartment complex in Overland Park, Kansas, where people with mild intellectual disabilities can experience independence with the support they need to thrive.
SOCIAL INTERACTION
We have fun together!
A sense of belonging is key to living a happy life. That’s why PROVEHO KC provides numerous opportunities for participants to connect with one another and build a safe, strong social network. These opportunities include fun events like game nights, bowling, Chiefs’ games, birthday parties, and JCCC concerts.
WELLNESS
Wellness is important and can be enjoyable!
To help our community live life to the fullest, PROVEHO KC goes all-in on wellness activities. We go on group walks and participate in light workouts on a weekly basis. We also have plans to incorporate wellness education into our program.
THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT
While our participants have strong support from their families, those families know that the best gift they can provide for their sons and daughters is the ability to live happy, productive lives as independently as possible. PROVEHO KC is here to help!
